the circular bolero

thought that i would post this before i take my pictures at rhinebeck tomorrow.

pattern: yesterknits circular bolero, retooled by your's truly
yarn: lamb's pride bulky in medieval red
needles: US10.5 denise circulars (knit flat)

this is a really easy pattern and also easy to change yarns based on the gauge of your particular swatch. if you're interested in making this, i redid all the math to suit lamb's pride bulky. be warned! this is a WINTER garment. it is very warm and will make a nice coverup for cold blustery nights.

more pictures in the gallery.

*UPDATE* i have updated the patterns page. this pattern is now available there for download. please drop by the site and let me know if you decide to knit it up! i'd love to see what other's do with it.

Looks great. I'd only just read your last post when you put this one up. Think I'll skip requesting a pattern copy though. Ha ha.

this looks fantastic! i've been eyeing off this pattern for a while now. however, living in australia i probably need a lighter version instead of a bulky cardigan. well done on a great FO!

Yay circular shrug! I'm glad it worked out so well, and I'm delighted to see the oldest yarn in my stash finally become something great. :) That Lamb's Pride was purchased at Halcyon Yarns in Bath, Maine in 2001! It looks great on you.

The shurg looks beautiful. My daughter's been bugging me about knitting her something different.
I would love to knit her this shurg and would appreciate it very much if you would e-mail me the pattern.

Thank you.
