or not go as it may be.. i will not be in rhinebeck this weekend, sorry to say, but i took a look at my stash and decided that it's for the best. i am incapable of not buying yarn and i might as well stay far away! i'm sure you'll all have a great time.

we're heading to my parents for the weekend so that the nut can spend some quality time with the grandparents. i did finish my first pair of peanut socktoberfest socks! i hope to get a few FO shots this weekend. the christening gown is looking really good and i even started another mitered square. i hope to get more knitting done this weekend while my mom holds and showers attention on the peanut.

in the meantime, be sure to bookmark this awesome site that i just found, knitmap. just what every knitting traveler needs!

What self control you have, not going to Rhinebeck! Your peanut is gorgeous! I read some of your older posts about her too. I have a 4 month old and am struggling with the 45 minute nap syndrome. Any tips?

I'm not going either. Try as I might to justify going I can't. I'm glad you're finding more time to knit! Even though you think you will let your mom have the Peanut all the time be prepared to still feel like you have to do everything. If you feel the urge to take her when you really don't have to RESIST! lol

I don't know how you do it. Oh, the temptation! And hey, maybe the nut would have liked to pet sheep or cashmere goats? Did you think of that?
PS: I only bought 2 yarns! Yes, two.

I'm not going either. Besides having an exam, I just do not need to purchase more yarn, and I would not be able to resist (like you!). Hae a great weekend away!

I went yesterday - and it wore me out. Looking at my stash now, maybe I should be giving next year a miss....

I adore that picture!

I love that picture! My hubby is a huge Star Trek fan! :) I wasn't there either - my wallet couldn't handle it....

I went, and bought no yarn! But please don't ask about the spinning fiber :)

So sorry you had to miss it! I got there a bit late and didn't see a single person I knew. But Ben spent more money on local wine than I did on yarn, so in all, it was a success!
