quick progress report from the front!

february lady sweater (ravelry)

the FLS is rockin'. i'm happy with how it's turning out. this brooks farm four play? lovely. i'm so glad that i have another 3 skeins in my stash in a different colorway! i will definitely have to make another sweater from it. thankfully this lace is easy TV knitting (as i remember from the february baby sweater). i've only screwed it up once or twice and i was able to drop down and pick up the missing YOs with no problem.

koigu knee highs (ravelry)

due to the long slog of knitting a cardigan top-down, i thought it would be nice to have some socks on the needles, so i did cast-on some knee highs right before leaving for rhinebeck. they are fairly straightforward and easy. i'm sure that they'll be a little more interesting by the time they reach my calves! until then snoooooooooooze.
