Look at all those projects - you've been busy! Lovely fabrics.

I'm actually ambivilant about the writer's strike; IMHO, most of the TV writing in the past year or so has been atrocious over all. I don't know if standards have dropped or the writers are just terrible, but hopefully a nice shake up will convince writers they really aren't as vital as they think they are, especially if they keep producing so far under par. Yea for reruns (none of which I've seen, due to school) and movies.

had some questions about the shoes, so i thought that i should comment. i did not use bonded fleece. i have no idea where i would find it without a car and a fabric store nearby! on one pair of shoes, i used two layers of cotton fabric plus interfacing for the soles. on the other two new pairs featured here, i used old sweatshirt material. i always put socks on the peanut and then these on over them, so it's not like i worry about her feet getting cold. that and she's not walking yet (or crawling for that matter) so her feet aren't touching the ground.

if you want to make them slip-proof, check out my del.icio.us links in the sidebar. i recently found a tutorial on making slip-proof soles.

I am IN LOVE with those shoes! You're such a good mama! Did you use the bonded fleece that she talks about for the sole? Does it work well? I'm really going to have to make some of these for the baby on the way!

Ahh, I love those little teeth! So cute!

I like your koolhaas--it's one pattern that looks good, no matter the yarn. I'm sure he's gonna love it.

Yay for shoes that stay on! My peanut is into pulling off her sneakers (esp. with velcro) and socks and having cold bare feet. So when we're indoors it's Robeez all the way. We call them her slippers. But now I can try making my own, yay! Teeth, so sweet.

I just watched PRC, too, and loved it. I got into the designers personalities so much more than the current PR season's. And I was so happy with the winner's collection! Have you heard of Project Catwalk? It's the British version. They just started season 3. There's even a PC group on Ravelry. If you find it, I put up a yahoo link to the (seasons 1 and 2) shows. (Sorry, I'm posting from work, which is all Ravelry-and-YouTube-filtered, boo.)
