i really wanted to make myself a cowl that would go well under my blue coat and cover that exposed area between the two lapels. every time i wear a scarf, it gets moved around and all of a sudden my chest is cold.

metheglin took only a week to make (thanks ravelry!) and was my second dive into two color knitting. i really didn’t enjoy fair isle the first time around, and even though this was not fair isle, it was working with two colors which i normally never do. for this project i held both colors in my left hand and dropped them when i wasn’t working with them. much easier.

this cowl does not disappoint! it’s warm and soft and works well. i’m happy!
